In 1963, 57-year old Jacobus Johannes Bayards sets up a workshop for the construction of aluminium and stainless steel in Nieuw- Lekkerland, a village on the banks of the river Lek. In the following years the company shows steady growth, designing and constructing a wide range of products predominantly in aluminum. Increased production, more people, more machinery and a bigger construction hall help Bayards celebrate its 35th anniversary and step into a new era.
In the year 2000 Bayards has grown into a company of 75 employees, with a 20,000 square meter site area and 5,000 square meters of construction workshops, operating at an international level and a market leader in specialized aluminum constructions with spectacular projects in the past and new challenges for the future. With its reputation for facing technological challenges, no sea is too high and the sky is the limit at Bayards.
As specialist in aluminum structures, Bayards is able to produce custom- built aluminum structures based on the tightest of clients' requirements or specifications. Bayards has built up a high level of expertise and experience over the years, producing a wide range of high-tech, cost-effective products with a wide range of applications in areas such as offshore, shipbuilding, container & transport, tanks & process vessels, and civil engineering. |
